Today we set our butterflies free! We have minded and watched them in our classroom since they were baby caterpillars.

If you look closely at the photo, you will see one of our Painted Lady butterflies on Robert’s arm!

Today we worked to make drawings on the tarmac in the yard. We used giant chalk sticks. Sometimes we drew together, and other drawings we did by ourselves!

Let’s hope it doesn’t rain so our drawings will stay on the ground for a few days!

We gathered some nice Autumn leaves, and worked together in groups to make pictures with them.

Then we used red, yellow and blue paint to make leaf prints!

We went on a minibeast hunt! We walked over to the basketball court on the other side of the road. We worked in pairs and found lots of different bugs and creepy crawlies!

This years musical was a great success! Everyone who took part worked extremely hard all year in getting it to the stage. Here are some photos of the children enjoying the sunshine before their first performance.

The Junior & Senior Infants had great fun on Sports Day! There were lots of stations so the children tried many different activities over the day.

The Infants had sack races and egg & spoon races. They had fun playing different games with the parachute. In teams, they had races to fill up a bucket with water using a wet sponge. Many children scored goals against the 6th Class in the penalty shoot-out!
